Update Available - Version 8.0.270

Post by jsachs »

An update is available to Version 8.0.270(24-Jan-2022)

The changes (taken from the update log) are:

Hue Saturation Transformation: added a brightness histogram and range slider so you can select colors based on brightness in addition to hue/saturation. Also added a button to compute both histograms based on just the currently masked area, similar to other transformations. For details on the new features, see the help file or Transformations.pdf.

Mobius Transformation: fixed problem causing incorrect application of amount mask when no mask image was present and several other minor user interface issues.

Print dialog box: added a Printer Resolution readout. This displays the actual printer resolution as reported by the printer driver, which may be lower than the advertised printer resolution and may vary with the printer settings. The printer resolution limits the amount of image data the driver will pass through to the printer. Resizing the image to the printer resolution before printing may, in some cases, produce slightly better results than letting the printer driver resize the image itself.

Changed the way File/Re-Save works so it now remembers the image file associated with a saved script (or workspace script) until you either load or save a new script with a different associated image file or clear the workspace.
