File Open

Post by Robert Schleif »

In the File Open transformation window if the wastebasket is clicked on, a box appears stating
"All files removed
Delete image and all images that depend on it?"
If the choice "Yes" is clicked on, the image disappears. Is it intended that the entire branch of transformations also disappear? If this is intended, it might be helpful if the original box warned of this.

Point taken -- probably better to not let you delete the last file in the list.

Deleting all but one of the files listed in File Open would not be consistent with the warning about deleting all files. To me it seems logical that if all files are deleted, the end result would be that the image tree remains, but would be as though the tree had been generated by a script whose input image no longer existed.

OK, for the next release, deleting all the entries in the file list gives you the default checkerboard image which then propagates through the rest of the branch.
