Layout fill panel : placing the crop area of the source image

Post by pierrelabreche »

How to move the crop rectangle in a source image, when filling a panel ( with cropping ) ?

I tried drag, alt-drag, shift-drag, control-drag : I cannot find how to move the image within the panel. The panel moves.

Similar to the Crop transformation, the cropping rectangle is displayed as an overlay on the input image in the main image area. Set the Layout transformation display toolbar to show the input image (gray circle) and click on the panel or the input thumbnail in the image browser to select a specific image for display.

Thank you Jonathan.

I had not realized that the main area was set to "display preview" rather than "display input".

I think that I would have found a way to proceed if there had been a right-click menu item "display input" attached to the layout panels shown in the right-side of the Layout transform dialog box .
