Text macros and calendar : regional settings to be used

Post by pierrelabreche »

The regional settings to be used would be useful

Macro for the text tool : the regional settings seem ignored for the date.
Currently the date is rendered as "yyyy:mm:dd", but I my system is set to "yyyy-mm-dd"
e.g. 2021-11-19 rather than "2021:11:19"

Calendar tool :
I would like the option to choose, for example, English or French, or other regional language settings for the generation of month names and day initiaL letters.

Most dates in macros are currently rendered as yyyy-mm-dd, and not yyyy:mm:dd. However, certain dates such as the time the photo was taken are stored in the image metadata as strings and are thus formatted by the camera.

The Calendar transformation already gets the month and day names from the current locale.

Thanks for the reply.

For calendar, I was thinking of overriding the regional settings in PWP. No big deal, it is a transformation that I rarely use.

You can easily change the international settings from the task bar.
