-- batch discussion, cont'd
5) file open(2) dlg
a) Since file open(2) dlg handles batch process, PW should assume that user wants to process ALL files on file list, so all files in file list should be selected as default when this dlg opens;
b) Selected files on the file open(2) dlg file list should be blue shade (same as file explorer). Unselected files should have white background. Note that this dlg is the reverse of normal Windows behavior. Cf: Windows file explorer and the 'open image files' dlg used by PW - all highlight the selected file(s) with blue; unselected files on a white background.
c) When there are lots of files on open file(2) file list, then "Select All" or "Run all files" buttons would be helpful.
d) Now, I think this dlg will always open with at least one file in file list, correct?
OR - there could be a menu command to open this dlg directly, with no file on file list, with or without images in IB. User uses "Select Files" button to add files to file list.
6) Help.
a) The help for the file open multiple.. dlg should be incorporated with batch processing help or a separate help topic. Most of this discussion involves use of the dlg for the batch ".. you can create a list of files that can be used as part of a batch workflow."
b) Batch processing can be top level item in help with script help as a sub-item, ie:
Batch processing
Batch processing
Open for batch (=File | open multiple discussion, #4 above)
Script commands
