An update is available to Version 8.0.181 (9-Dec-2020)

The changes (taken from the update log) are:

Updated ExifTool to version 12.12.

Fixed problem causing the mouse scroll wheel to be ignored in some cases, even with the Alt key depressed.

In Amount controls, a Reset menu option is now available even if there is no Amount Mask. This lets you reset the slider to its default value.

Crop: fixed problem causing flashing when moving the cursor over the output image.
