File - File Drop Menu v8-0-155

Post by den »

.
For my 1366x768 laptop display when selecting from the File drop menu, the New mouse click area is on top of the File button. The menu appears so quickly that if the mouse is moved ever so slightly before its release from File; New gets selected which is not always intended.

Would it be possible to shorten the menu dialog height or have a larger left margin from the program's left frame so that the File button is cleared?

Thank you...

Just for the record, although I don't know how exactly that happened, I can confirm that this happened to me too - hoowering (or clicking too fast, maybe?) on file menu item got me the New dialog box, unintentionally, a few times already...

To shorten the File menu for the next release, I moved the list of recently open or save files from the end of the File menu to an Open Recent... submenu.
