Re: Save Layout

OK, that sounds good.
If multiple images are used in a layout, I suppose a provisional name could be generated based on the name of the first image, e.g. LAY-xyz.tif.

Re: Save Layout

I'm not surprised that you were confused, now I find that except for Layout's not providing a suggested file name, its behavior behavior in saving an image file and giving me the option of saving a script that produced it is as I would desire and expect. Sorry to have wasted your time. When saving f...

Re: Save Layout

It would be helpful if you could add the response that you gave above to "Help" in the Layout window. For almost all the other transformations one can choose Save as, Save Back, or Save to Default, have a window appear with a suggested file name, and proceed, and with my preference settings, the ima...

Save Layout

It is not clear to me whether it is possible to save a layout script such that the full layout plus images can be regenerated just by running the script. I can see value in being able to save a layout's framework with and without images. Also, is there a reason that when saving a layout, the window ...

Re: Paint brush in Mask

That sounds like a good suggestion, thank you. I don't recall seeing it in the documentation.

Paint brush in Mask

For me, the effectiveness of the paintbrush in masking operations could be substantially improved with the following adjustments. Although the representation of the paint brush's softness in the mask window shows a nice gradation of strength, when I paint, the brush seems to be much less soft, with ...

Re: Batch Process, Backtrack?

Yes, I am running a batch job and I have a breakpoint in the branch. I would like it if, when execution has stopped at the breakpoint I could resume the batch job from the file before the file whose execution has just stopped at the breakpoint. Being able restart at any position as you wrote, would ...

Batch Process, Backtrack?

It would be helpful to me in screening large numbers of images if the Batch Progress window, in addition to containing the Terminate Batch Process button also contained a second button that moved the batch process to the preceding input file so that I could backtrack. I suppose this might also be po...

Minor tweeks

The red outline on depressed buttons is helpful, but a little faint. Perhaps tryout a somewhat thicker line? Under File, I use Open from Default and Save to Default far more that the rest combined. It would be nice if they were at the top of the list, or the list order of file operations could be cu...

Zooming while making mask

Is it intended that the mouse scroll wheel not zoom the image while making a mask and when the cursor is in the output image?
