Re: rain drops removal

One idea that may improve things a little automatically is trying the Dehaze transformation.

Re: Update Available - Version 8.0.408

Re: Update Available - Version 8.0.408

I'm playing with the new Dependencies command, and I wonder if I'm getting it right. - The dependencies are shown as yellow checkmarks - i.e. they Select transformations just like the Select/Deselect buttons? - Hitting OK or Cancel doesn't make a difference as the transformations remain selected aft...

Re: Execution time - workflow efficiency

I'm still amazed by how much turning off colour management for thumbnails improved the speed of recalculations. I tried other things to accomplish that, but their effectiveness pale in comparison. I was thinking that it may be worth pointing it out for posterity by either adding a note/warning in th...

Re: Composite images : User interface suggestion

This may not help, but I find it relatively easy to determine which images contribute as auxiliary inputs to another image by looking for coloured upstream transformations that are at the end of branches (a common scenario). When I add a Bypass Transformation but forget to change the reference to it...

Re: Composite images : User interface suggestion

Left-clicking on an auxiliary thumbnail focuses on it and displays its preview. Maybe shift/ctrl/alt clicking on a thumbnail could move focus to the source image instead? On the second point, as a workaround of sorts, inserting the Bypass Transformation right after the contributing side image and in...

Re: Omitting a Branch from recalculations

Say, no transformation in the Browser is bypassed. Bypass any transformation. Select this current, just-bypassed transformation (yellow checkmark). The Set bypass and Clear bypass buttons in the Browser Menu bar are grayed out at this stage (i.e. you can't un-bypass this transformation by using Set/...

Re: Omitting a Branch from recalculations

A trifle I noticed: - bypass a transformation - things get recalculated - select the same transformation (still current) that was just bypassed - the bypass/unbypass buttons are still grayed out - click on some other transformation to make it current and then go back to the original one - the bypass...

Re: Update Available - Version 8.0.406

When Alt-clicking on thumbnails, the clicked-on image comes into focus, but the preview maintains the zoom level of the previously current image - great for comparisons. The left/right arrow keys cycle through the Selected set of images, but each preview maintains its original zoom. Would it be poss...

Link to PWP8 in the post about PWP7

I was thinking that it may be helpful to add a note/link to the top-most post on PWP7 pointing to PWP8. I know the history, but if one doesn't and lands on the Support forum directly, it may not be clear that PWP7 was superseded by a new and actively developed version of the programme, I think.
