If you can figure out what you were doing immediately prior to the happening, let me know. In the meantime it should be fixed in the next release, at least for Undo.

Can you post a small version of one of the original image? I did some tests and I think Color Balance is working OK, but perhaps chromatic adaptation (the ability of the eye to compensate for and cancel out the effects of different white points) may be making the image look a little pink when its RG...

Not sure if this answers your question, but if you select File Info for a saved image's thumbnail it tells you both the original filename and the name you saved it under.
