Mat & Frame Transformaion
I have some problems (maybe enhancement requests) with the Mat & Frame Transformation: Normally I work with fixed-sized frames, for example 50 x 40 cm. So the mate size is also fix. What I need is the possibility to specify both (besides properties of the frame profile): - mat size - the image s...

Re: WindowsXP/7/8 32/64? Is XP still a valid option?
Dieter, VueScan brings its own drivers for many scanners. For other VueScan still need the manufactures drivers. I use an Epson 2450 Photo, a Nikon Coolscan V and a Canonscan FS4000 US (with SCSI) with Windows 7 64-bit. SCSI-Card is an old Dawicontrol DC-2975U. Even my old Fritz-Card for ISDN works ...

File | Save as widget command
Is there a method to make the setting some kind of permanent, especially the destination folder. I would like to have all my final images in a structure like this: "H:\Final_Images\%createyear%\%createmonthabbr%\%createdate%\" without typing the path again after a restart of PWP. Thanks, W...

Bug: Renaming an image with the PWP-Browser
Renaming an image with the PWP-browser does not rename the *.wfl-file.

Re: Dynamic Range - Colour Balance versus Levels and Colour
The difference of this tools is: - Level and Color uses the HSV or the HSL color-model So this tranformation alters the dynamic range for the Value/Lightness-chanel The colors and the saturation should not alter. - Color Balance uses the rgb color-model So this transformation alters all three chanel...

Re: removing mask specks after using flood fill
I offen use the feather tool with the Failoff Step and a Feather Width of 1 or 2 until the specks are gone.
Then I use a negativ Feather Width to decrease the mask again.

Re: Exif-Data (Focal Length(mm)) is incorrect
you are right. It is just a minor inconvenience. Nevertheless I did another test: I extracted an embedded jpg from a K-5-dng-file. With this original jpg everything is ok, but if I save this file again with PWP6 the Focal Length-Field is bad again. No problem if I save the original jpg as tiff. Than...
