Re: An open dialog with no input image, reposted.
I hope you are not losing your patience... I have replaced the test version on the download page with a new one. It removes the previous debugging code, fixed some minor problems which might possibly be causing the symptoms you report (but I doubt it), and adds a new feature: After you load your ima...

Re: An open dialog with no input image, reposted.
If # downstream images is 0, then the image tree may be messed up and almost anything can happen as a result. When you close the input image for a transformation that is still using it, I would expect a lot of errors.

Re: An open dialog with no input image, reposted.
OK, thanks.
# downstream images is supposed to be 1, so the program mistakenly thinks the input image has no images below it, even though it does. Let me see if I can narrow down the problem a little more.

Re: An open dialog with no input image, reposted.
OK, I added a link at the bottom of the downloads page to the test version. Unzip the file, copy the executable to the folder where PWP is installed and run PWP normally. Please let me know what it displays when you click the x to close the input image thumbnail.

Re: An open dialog with no input image, reposted.
OK, I will shortly post a version of the exe file that displays some internal data when you try to close an image on the download page. If you copy this version to the folder where you installed PWP and run it (rename the old one first), please let me know what it displays when you click the x on th...

Re: An open dialog with no input image, reposted.
I seem to need more information to reproduce this: 1) How are you opening the image ? I am using File Open 2) How are you closing the input thumbnail? I am clicking the x on the thumbnail in the image browser for the top level image opened by File Open. If I do this, I do not get the option to Close...

Re: Gradient: closing input does not close the dialog
I seem to be missing something. When you say "Open an image" I assume you mean via File Open. When I try to reproduce this problem I don't get the option to close just the current image when I try to close the input image that was opened with File Open, so the problem never comes up. If yo...

Bug fix release 14-Apr-2018
I have posted a new release (14-Apr-2018) in both full version and executable-only. The help file now includes a description of the Stack Images transformation. The changes (taken from the update log) are: Fixed problem in Multipoint Gradient where clicking on a control point without moving it cause...
