Gradients
Would it make sense for the gradient transformation and the gradient tool in making a mask more similar in operation to one another? Possibly the following changes would make their operation more similar? In the gradient transformation, the vertical and horizontal types do not seem needed as what is...

Left-to-right
Because I read and write from left to right, it would feel more natural to me if the most recently image added to the image browser were to the right of the previously opened images rather than to the left.

Re: Extended Scroll Wheel
Great, just what I had in mind, although slightly better would be consistency in all transformations, i.e. scroll wheel always zooms, and alt + scroll wheel adjusts the brush.
It would be helpful if this information were in the General Tips in the Keyboard Shortcuts (Keyboard and Mouse Shortcuts?)

Extended Scroll Wheel
I find it a very great convenience to be able to zoom using the mouse scroll wheel, and I miss this capability when I am using transforms for which the scroll wheel controls something else as in Clone, Paint, or Scratch Removal. One way to give uniformity of function and increase convenience would b...

Re: File Saving
The behavior that I've described is reproducible here. When multiple branches have been opened with scripts, independent of what branch is being saved, Save Back offers as a save folder, the folder of the most recently opened script. Perhaps the following setting in Preferences is relevant: On Scrip...

Re: File Saving
Shouldn't Save Back look up the branch of the image that is open or displayed? Since the scripts 1 and 2 each began with a file open of an image in their own directories, it seems like Save Back in the above scenario should offer folder A, not B. The problem seems to be related to opening branches u...

File Saving
Here are two scenarios in which file saving does not behave in the way I expect. Set the default folder Choose set default folder again, (it is as was set in the previous step), but now cancel Choose set default folder yet again. Now it is set to root. (I expected cancel to leave the default folder ...

Re: Purple Fringe
OK. Thank you for trying. If you return to this problem, it would be nice if the solution could also address the following problem. In shooting night time scenes, red lights often get blown, and their centers are white or orange. Something analogous to purple fringe removal might allow automatic rep...

Re: Purple Fringe
I've been trying to remove purple fringes around leaves amidst branches whose color is close to the gray that is put in by purple fringe. I can't easily use color selective or color remap to provide green edges to the leaves without also turning the branches green.

Re: Zooming Point
It seems like the new zooming doesn't work quite right in the split screen mode.
