There are cases (mostly raw files from very old cameras) where the raw file has a normal extension such as TIF. DNG can be read as a raw file.

It turns out the batch progress dialog box was simply covering up the error message dialog box (No folder specified). For the next release, I removed the Output Image Only and No Change options since nearly all the mask tool require displaying the input image.

I could only get this to happen if, under the Mask setting menu, Input Image Only on Startup was selected. In any case it should be fixed for the next release.
