It would be convenient to make initial and new control points default to a user-chosen color ; for example, for Soft Light operation, 50% gray. Is this possible now, or could this be a new feature ?

Some applications such as Nik 6 Color Efex can generate TIFF files with multiple images. In the case of Nik, it is the input and output images.

I overlooked the grid selector in the crop transformation dialog box.
I had established a default grid for the crop tool since a long time ago and had forgotten about it when I used it on a different computer.
