Re: feature request for Layout transformation : grid computation
There is a 'Create Grid' button (rightmost) which may already do what you suggested.

Re: Omitting a Branch from recalculations
I've attached the Workspace script where I think I see it. The procedure is: - Load the Workspace script - Select All transformation - Bypass all selected At this point, all the transformations are recalculated in an order that I can follow. This is expected, but I was thinking that perhaps a check ...

Re: Omitting a Branch from recalculations
If I select all transformations, then bypass them all (except for the top transformations in branches), shuffle and adjust the transformations a bit (there are recalculations, which is great), and then un-bypass them all (to recalculate everything) - PWP seem to recalculate a branched workflow twice...

Re: Omitting a Branch from recalculations
You have indeed - works great and the selection of toggling options makes it easy to choose and bypass any chunks of the workflow easily. Thanks!

Re: Omitting a Branch from recalculations
Perhaps adding a toggle to the Bypass Transformation: passing input to output as it does now when active, or passing nothing? as output to prevent the downstream transformations from recalculating could act as a Stop? But then what happens if the Bypass is used as intended (i.e. it's output is used ...

Re: Omitting a Branch from recalculations
If the above is a viable idea, perhaps this could also work at the splitter level turning on and off all the branches under it in one go?

Zen of PWP
Cheers! While the target was done, I kept thinking about optimizing the Workflow - The Zen of PWP... I got it down to about 25 steps, with no images or masks, separated the Workflow into branches to prevent recalculations of branches with no changes before the 'assembly', and reduced the bit depth b...

Grid Transformation mysteries
I'm trying to draw a grid on an 8x8 cm @ 300 dpi square (945x945 pixels). The attached image shows a grid that I'm almost happy with, except for two things: I would like to remove edges and also remove the vertical and horizontal middle lines (i.e. leaving only minor divisions). Checking Omit Edges,...

Re: Ruler transformation issues
I think this time I'm really done designing the target :-) I'm so proud of it that I decided to share it again (last time). It shows the PWP capabilities of designing such things, that I was not fully aware of - and it's a good practice in optimizing the workflow (there are enough elements and opera...

Omitting a Branch from recalculations
When making a shooting target, the workspace is fairly long and complicated, and thus slow updating on my old laptop. I can temporarily turn off individual transformations in the branches, starting from the bottom for efficiency, but then I need to turn them all again one by one (this time starting ...
