When the input image is the result of a panorama assembly without cropping, the uncaptured areas are replaced by pure black.
It would be convenient to have the ability to ignore pure black when computing the black point.

problem : crash when using the scratch removal tool
While using the scratch removal tool, PWP crashed during the placement of the end of a line. Very simple line being defined, only the two end-points. Open a single jpg image Zoom to 100% in the image area of interest Define the origin of the scratch using shift-click. Drag the end-point to define a ...

issue : Nik 6 Perspective Efex not found by PWP
Other components are found, but not Nik 6 Perspective Efex. The installation folder for Nik 6 Perspective Efex is not collocated with the other components of Nik 6 in the bin folder. For example : "C:\Program Files\DxO\Nik Collection 6\bin\Nik 6 Analog Efex.exe" "C:\Program Files\DxO\...

Feature request : Transfer from camera or device not mapped to drive letter
If user connects phone or camera to a USB port, there is no drive letter associated with the source folder.
It would be convenient to identify the source folder by path name rather than by drive letter.
The source is not always a SD card

Re: Moving projects to other computers and batch processing
A very common case is for storing the script file in the same directory as the input file. If the script processor does not find the input file at the expected original location, it could examine if the original input file was collocated in the same folder as the script file. If so, it could search ...

Re: “File | Open Multiple” doesn’t seem to open multiple files
Suggestions : 1. It might be easier for users to figure out the interface if the run batch icon (running man) were moved from the transform dialog panel to the image browser tree, nearby attached to the transform. 2. The right click menu for the file input multiple transform could have "Run bat...

Re: file open - filetype RAW (*.*)
Generally I store in the same folder several format images: TIF, jpg, DNG and the original canera raw format ( e.g. NEF, CR3, RAF ... ). The DNGs are for example created by DxO Photolab with optical corrections, the TIF files are used for inter-application communication (e.g. Nik collection invoked ...

request : Accept pathnames enclosed within quotation marks
When PWP cannot open a file, it asks via a message box to define a replacement file. The "edit pathname" option does not accept pathnames enclosed in quotation marks. NOTE : windows file explorer creates pathnames enclosed in quotation marks, when a file is copied into the clipboard as an ...
