Re: Save as image folder--name of included file
To forestall this question ever arising again, perhaps add a sentence or two to the Save documentation saying what happens when the original is a DNG or HEIC file.

Save as image folder--name of included file
When I open a DNG file and save as and choose "Save script with image copies", the file that is save din the image folder has the extension tif, not dng. Are they, in fact, identical files? The documentation says the starting file is saved in the image folder, but it is surprising to find ...

Saving Files
Usually I work with more than one image tree. When I choose to save one of the trees using Save As, PWP presents as a default directory, the directory most previously used for a save operation. It would be more convenient for my work style if, instead, PWP presented as a default directory the direct...

Ctrl-Alt-Del does nothing, and I must power off, restart, and in restarting, problems are encountered and I select continuie startup anyway. Restart is then successful....

Can't kill precise gaussian blur
After starting Precise Gaussian that is projected to take 15 minutes, depressing Shift and Alt for two minuites did not terminate Precise Gaussian. While Precise Guassian was running, I could do nothing else on my computer. This was with PWP 8.0.533. Some time ago I mentioned this issue, and I thoug...

Can't copy a mask
It seems like I should be able to create a mask, save it, and then add it to another mask, but I'm having difficulties using version 8.0.533 Here's what I do, and here's what I get. Open PWP Open a script that does not contain masks Open the mask transformation Choose Mask 1 New Mask Draw a simple m...

Sharpening
Some time in the past, your (Jonathan's) contribution to a thread on sharpening mentioned some commercial software that you use before printing. Could you please mention it again. From the Reference Manual on Multipass Sharpening--"A blur threshold of 0% eliminates all blurring and consequently...

Re: Crash Recovery
Perhaps what had failed in my case was unusual. All that was visible that was attributable to PWP was the box with the yellow background saying "Loading workspace script..." At the time I didn't think to check the Windows task manager to see if PWP was doing anything.
