Might work for other "Loaded:" files for other transforms as well although file name lengths will need to be addressed. May be something for the future.

Re: Tint showing the loaded colorline?

With the above suggestion, the browser workspace could have many notification indications for comments. How would you separate program generated comments from true "note to self" without having to click/open each one? I typically will change the caption to include a tint name if the color line is no...

Re: Saving image script files with image names - v8.0.203

OK... ...you are right. This is not as straight forward as I thought. In checking the assertion in my previous post, I see that script index numbers can get re-ordered and that <Index 1 File 1 " "> is not the starting image in the case where the script opens another image to be used as an Overlay in...

Re: Saving image script files with image names - v8.0.203

What if this is limited to "File\Save Back..." where the starting image, script, and resulting image version are all in the same folder which is my normal save option? ...and limiting this to just the Index 1 portion of the script would leave complete paths to any other images opened by the script t...

Saving image script files with image names - v8.0.203

Image script files are identified for example as "DSCF3151.tif.script", i.e. <name>.image type.script extension and their default location for me is in the same folder as their starting image and resulting image version... Would it be convenient for others that the Index 1 File 1 parameter of these ...

Instead of using Blend-ColorDodge to change the V channel; try Filter in Additive mode with a 1.75 exposure and the area mask having a large edge radius to cast illumination from the increased brightness of the rays...

Re: There's got to be a better way.

... Another possibility to prevent a strong cyan color cast that the Blend-ColorDodge creates is to Extract the original image into its H, S, and V channels; perform the Blend-ColorDodge step on the V channel with an image area mask of the foreground rays; then re-Combine the H and S channels with t...

Re: There's got to be a better way.

...For beams or rays, I will: 1) Take a beam sky/cloud image from my library that I have accumulated over the years [or search the internet for a free image of preference] and extract its Luminance channel. 2) Change this image's contrast about a 50% gray tone Luminance to preference. 3) then Compos...

Re: Lazlo effect - den?

The Lazlo Effect is really a variation based on the post imaging style of Dragan. An internet search for the Dragan Effect will produce links to many tutorials which have differing workflows that can provide ideas for your own style. For an example: Creating the Dragan Effect -- https://support.core...
