Workflow - reverting after 1:1

Post by MikeG »

It's great that the 1:1 tool operates on workflow windows.
Is there a way of quickly reverting to the original window size so that the entire image is again visible?
The only way I've found to revert to the original size is to repeatedly hit the zoom out tool (the button with the minus sign on it), which gets a bit tedious.

Anyone got a better method?

try menu | window | zoom factor ... zoom factor = 4; select 'reduction' button.
But this may not be faster than clicking the '-' minus button a few times???

Here you go: The '+' and '-' keys on number pad zoom the active window.

Mike,

Are you looking for something different than the "Zoom Out to Fit Screen" button (just to the right of the minus ("-") button? When I'm in 1:1 mode and want to get back to the whole image, that's what I use.

I don't think there is anything that remembers what zoom factor you had just before you went to 1:1 mode.

Thank you, Bobs (!) for your suggestions.

1. Using Window/Zoom factor crashes PWP5 when I'm in workflow mode.
2. Using the minus sign on the the keypad - a definite improvement over clicking the minus button on the menu bar. Thanks for the tip.
3. Using the 'Zoom out to fit window' button doesn't work for me in workflow, otherwise it would be ideal.

Bob Walker, does it work for you when you're using a workflow?

I'm using Vista Home Premium SP1

Mike,

You're right, sorry. Zoom out to fit doesn't work in a workflow setting, even though 1:1 does. I should pay attention better.

Zoom Factor should be grayed out for workflow. This will be corrected in the next update.
