Image Timestamps and P60.browseinfo

Kiril/Jonathan,

I like the new features of PWP6.0 -- I am looking forward to trying things out.

I like to sort my images by the EXIF timestamp, so that changing the image title/filename does not mess up the order images are displayed in the PWP browser pane. So I select the sort option "Sort by Create Date".

When editing some images at the end of the browser list, the recently edited and saved image (with a new name) went to the front of the browser display, sorted out of order. Refreshing the thumbnails did not fix it.

I was able to get the images to display in the correct order by deleting the PW60.browseinfo file from Windows, and then refreshing thumbnails. Is it possible that the image create timestamp inside the browseinfo database is saved wrong?

Thanks,
Bob W

The browse info file does not store create dates. It only stores modify dates as these are needed to determine if an image in the file must be refreshed. But I will look out for the problem you reported.
