Re: Motion Blur

Thank you. It was easy with linear blur to generate the effect I sought. I had overlooked linear blur. It might be helpful if it were possible to change the name Motion Blur to Camera Motion Blur, and/or to state in the help that the transformation mimics camera motion and that if motion of the subj...

Motion Blur

I had difficulty using Motion Blur to generate to illusion of motion in the splashed foam and water from an ocean wave hitting rocks. Using an amount mask was not productive, but I found that motion blurring the entire image and then cloning back the stationary parts of the image came close to what ...

Re: Questions on Change Profile

After experimenting for a while with a number of old images, I'm finding that I would rarely use the gamut alarm, and instead, I will toggle back and forth between the monitor image and proof image. Therefore, in the interest of a clean screen, I, myself, do not now advocate for an additional button...

Re: Questions on Change Profile

Thank you. What you wrote plus additional reading answers my questions. Trying to print a beautiful Impatiens flower brought on this study and the eventual discovery that the flower's color and intensity are far out of gamut for the Canon P-1000 printer using any Canon paper. It seems like it would ...

Questions on Change Profile

In the Change Profile transformation in addition to names of profiles like Adobe 1998, I find a number of Canon papers listed, e.g. Canon PRO-1000/500 Photo Paper Pro Premium Matte. (I have installed a Canon Pro-1000 printer.) 1. Is the information on the Canon papers in the printer drivers, or rath...

Re: Transformation Displace (circular): request more controls

The above-mentioned additions would make this transformation much more useful to me. If they are implemented, changing the name to "turn" would increase the transformation's visibility (Displacement implies translation and not so much or not at all rotation.)

Re: Linear Gradient

Adjusting the angle of a gradient might become more intuitive (at least for me) if either of the following could be implemented. 1. Make the operation more similar to adjusting the position and angles in the crop transformation, that is, to change the angle, depress shift and use the mouse. 2. Make ...

Linear Gradient

I am unable to change the angle of the linear gradient. It remains vertical no matter how I try to move the numbered indices at either end.

Precise Gaussioan and Mask Sliders

Running Precise Gaussion with the black slider of Amount at 100 and the white slider at 0, nothing happens. No part of the image is blurred. If the white slider is at 100 and the black at 0, the areas of the image corresponding to white areas of the mask are appropriately blurred. Is this the intend...
