Kiril, I see that you have released ver 4, but I hope these comments from looking at the beta are still useful. Bug - Access violation The instruction at 0x77fcb81b referenced memory at 0x00b6f675 I had (1) run a workflow with images dragged from the image browser (2) closed the workflow window (3) changed to a different folder in the image brower (4) clicked on the workflow icon - and PWP failed. The sequence appears to reproduce the bug. Comments on workflow: (how did I ever live without it?) - I would have liked to see workflow that can start of end with files in memory rather than just from disk. - the progress bar drawn as workflow runs appears to be behind the workflow window. If you try to click on the progress title bar to move the window it actually selects files in the workflow window. Suggestion for image brower window: - Can it keep position when it is refreshed? I seem to do a lot of 'scrolling back to where I was'. - Can it auto-refesh by monitoring the folder for changes? Raw conversion: - I'm quite disapointed with the quality of AHD (and I consider VNG quite unusable). I has color artifacts and appears to clipping in some cases. I can send an example if you want. Also the converted image comes out too dark (compared with thumbnail or default settings in other converters) - However the color profile gives very good results at least for my Canon 20D. Martin, Thank you for the report and suggestions. I will be working on residual bugs next week. So let me contact you then and try to identify what is happening, though if it's a bug I can't reproduce it can be tough to find. I would appreciate it if you could download the released version in the meantime and let me know if there is still a problem. Thank you, Kiril Kiril |

Kiril, You will be pleased to hear that bug did not appear when I tried the release version. However I did see that the minor issue with the progress window when workflow is running is still present - try clicking cancel and it selects an image instead. Martin. |
