A mask will not work with Red Eye Removal. That is, if you have a mask and impose the "New Pupil" half in and half out of the masked area, the whole pupil is left on the photo. This is also true with 3.5. so it appears as a long standing bug. When the person,s pupil is partially hidden (by an eye lid), the ability to mask out the hidden area, so that you do not get a perfectly round pupil extending up beyond the eye, is desirable.
