I have an image of a figure in a landscape & am trying to blur the background to make it less distracting. Short of hand blurring is there another way? I have tried creating a mask around the figure (& blurring the mask edge as I can't seem to draw a really accurate line around the figure), inverting it & then applying Gaussian blur but this leaves a halo around the figure - not quite what I had in mind! Any suggestions please.
